Decide who actually needs to be in this meeting

A meeting invite list built out of caution ("better safe than sorry") is how meetings get quietly bloated.

Use it for
Anyone organizing a meeting who wants an honest check on the attendee list before sending invites.

Meeting invite lists tend to grow out of caution — including someone "just in case" feels safer than leaving them out, but that caution compounds across every meeting into invite lists nobody has actually checked. This prompt checks each attendee against a real reason they need to be there live, versus getting a summary afterward.

When not to use this

For a small, obviously necessary group — a 1:1, a tight working session — this check adds nothing. This is for a meeting whose invite list has grown past what feels obviously necessary.

Did this work?

You have a specific reason each invited person needs to be there live, versus who could just get a summary afterward.

Tested on claude-opus-5. Evidence status is draft; it moves to battle-tested only on recorded runs, never by hand.
