PromptKit

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of PromptKit (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. Accounts

You need an account to post content, vote, save, or use the runner’s saved history. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of any prompt, workflow, or other content you post. By posting, you grant PromptKit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service — including showing it to other users, indexing it for search, and preserving forked copies with attribution when someone else reprompts it.

You’re responsible for what you post. Don’t post content that’s illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains malicious code (including content designed to execute scripts against other users — content is sanitized on render, but don’t try).

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

  • Post spam, or automate posting/voting/saving at volume
  • Impersonate another person or misattribute authorship
  • Attempt to bypass access controls on private content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s operation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Pro is a paid subscription billed through Clerk Billing (backed by Stripe). Pricing is shown at /pricing before you subscribe. You can cancel anytime; your account reverts to the free tier at the end of the current billing period. Your posted content and saved library are never deleted or hidden for lapsing from Pro.

6. The runner and no execution warranty

PromptKit does not call any AI model on your behalf and makes no guarantee about the output you’ll get from pasting a prompt into a third-party tool. Evidence statuses (draft, tested, battle-tested) reflect recorded community usage, not a guarantee of results for your specific case.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (content licensing for already-distributed forks, liability limits) will survive.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptKit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including outcomes from content you copy into third-party AI tools.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
