Before you upgrade
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel whenever, no lock-in. Your account reverts to Free at the end of the billing period, and you keep access to the free sample and the community feed.
What happens to my private prompts if I downgrade?
They stay private and stay yours — they just become read-only for editing until you're back on Pro. Nothing is deleted or made public automatically.
Does downgrading affect content I've already posted publicly?
No. Posting to the community feed, votes, and saves are free-tier features and are completely unaffected by your subscription status.
Is this the final price?
This is founding-member pricing while PromptKit is young. Expect it to rise as more content and evidence accumulate — lock it in now if you're going to use it.
Do I need Pro to use "Customize" on a prompt?
No — Customize (AI-rewriting a prompt to your own wording) is free for everyone, signed in or not, up to 5 times a month. Pro removes that limit entirely; everything else about the feature is identical either way.
