Find the non-obvious angle on a topic everyone's already covered
The first angle you think of on a well-worn topic is the one everyone else already used.
- Use it for
- Anyone writing or creating about a topic that's been covered many times before.
Well-worn topics tend to produce the same handful of obvious angles, because everyone — human writers and AI alike — converges on whatever comes to mind first. That first angle is exactly the one that's already been written a hundred times. This prompt names what's already been covered explicitly, then pushes past the first idea to find something that actually comes at the topic differently.
When not to use this
If you specifically want the familiar, expected angle — because it's what your audience is searching for, say — this isn't the right move. This is for when you want to say something that hasn't already been said.
Did this work?
The angle you end up with genuinely isn't a rephrasing of the already-covered ones you listed, and you'd notice if it were.
